We’re thrilled to share that DLS Hosted PBX 5.7 is now in beta testing, and we’d love you to join! This update brings loads of new features and enhancements for you.

🛠️ Key Updates:

• Admin API: We’ve renamed API V1 to the Admin API, dedicated to system administration. It now includes a ‘subscribers’ endpoint for managing opt-in and opt-out lists.
• User API: We’ve introduced the User API for user-level tasks, with detailed docs in Support under API Docs.
• DLS Meeting Room: Get ready for audio-only meeting rooms, recurring meetings on different days, and an amazing AI Assistant feature for interactive meetings. Think of it as an extra person in the room! We’ve also added an External Whiteboard, Office doc support, individual volume control, and simplified webinars.

🗃️ Database Changes:

• We’ve updated the database info in HELP for easy access.

🚫 Deprecated Features:

• We removed ‘Google Cloud Printer’ support since Google discontinued it.

📞 New Handsets:

• Now, various Yealink handsets are supported for an enhanced experience.

🖥️ Desktop Communicator:

• Our Desktop Communicator now handles MMS and boasts an improved UI. While we’ll support the original version, no new features will be added to it.

🐛 Bug Fixes:

• We’ve fixed many bugs for smoother use.

📊 Reports:

• Notably, Queue Service Level reports show percentages separately.
• The Login Log tracks User API authentication attempts.
• MMS messages from the Cloud Softphone now display correctly.
• The Change Log includes User API changes.

📩 SMS/MMS:

• We simplified SMS/MMS setup with a step-by-step wizard.
• You can create SMS campaign opt-in lists.
• Added regulatory compliance for SMS campaigns.
• Made the campaign setup user-friendly.
• SMS/MMS is also supported via the User API.

📸 Snapshots:

• Restoring a snapshot now triggers a backup first.

❓ Help:

• We’ve introduced interactive API docs using Redocly in Support under API Docs.

🖼️ UI Improvements:

• The bulk application is now available on the Users > Call Recording page.
• We’ve given the Contacts page a fresh look.

⚙️ Under the Hood:

• Finally, we’ve upgraded our OS and development platform for better performance.
