DLS PBX Update Summary – March 18, 2025

Hello from the DLS Development Team,

As of 11:58 P.M. on March 18, 2025, all 5.7 PBXs have been updated to version 5.7.76 (previously 5.7.74).

All 6.0 PBXs have been upgraded to version 6.0.4 (from 6.0.0).

OVERVIEW

Since our initial upgrade last week, version 6.0 has received several bug fixes and improvements. Please see the breakdown below for more details.

Additionally, we’ve delayed our second batch of 6.0 upgrades while we resolve a Do-Not-Disturb (DND) issue affecting Poly/Polycom handsets (PBX-3358).

An important new feature has also been added to the Campaign Registry forms in 5.7 PBXs.

NEWLY UPGRADED PBXs

This week’s upgrade was delayed to address the Polycom DND issue (PBX-3358), which is currently impacting several clients.

We may resume upgrades Thursday night, but no schedule is confirmed yet.

IMPROVEMENT: Enhanced reports in the web UI. When launched in the background, users are redirected to Report History, with the generated report highlighted.

IMPROVEMENT: Added a “Report Type” column to the Report History page for easier identification (e.g., Call Detail Report).

IMPROVEMENT: Updated “Number of days to retain quick access call history” setting to only allow values between 1 and 180 for better performance and error prevention.

5.7

5.7.76

IMPROVEMENT: Updated SSL certificates, now valid through 2026. Contact us if you encounter issues with the web UI or email delivery.

IMPROVEMENT: Enhanced Campaign Registry creation and edit forms to include fields for:

• Embedded Link

• Privacy Policy Link

• Terms and Conditions Link

These changes help users create campaigns more likely to receive DCA approval and will be added to 6.0 soon.

• Additionally, we’ve increased the Call-To-Action field limit from 2048 to 4096 characters.

OTHER NOTES

There are additional bug fixes and improvements coming in the next few weeks as we refine version 6.0. To keep this email concise, those aren’t listed here. If you have questions about a specific issue or need to escalate a case, please reach out.

Our top priority remains resolving the Polycom DND issue so we can resume the 6.0 upgrade rollout.

See you all in next week’s update — Happy Wednesday!
